My February Favourites

I thought I would share with you the products I am reaching for at the moment and loving!

Zadig & Voltaire perfumeThis is her

I bought this in December but have really only been using a lot for the past two weeks, I utterly love it, it’s s fresh but soft and creamy and cozy, my best analogy is imagine having a gorgeous light vanilla cupcake with warm milk, whilst wearing your favourite cashmere jumper and socks! It is softly sexy and inoffensive. It contains notes of pink pepper, Sambac Jasmine Milky chestnut cream, vanilla and sandalwood  30ml £38 from John Lewis

Yves Rocher – So Elixir Bois Sensuel

OMG I utterly love this body lotion, I am a big fan of Yves Rocher and have been a member for years, I like how their products are paraben free and they try to use a lot of natural oils, I am a huge fan of their Monoi perfume, their Orange blossom shower gel and body lotion, but I will talk about these in the coming months, but back to this body lotion! it makes my skin so super soft and smells so pretty and gentle as it contains sweet almond oil & cornflower water. The fragrance is stunning with Vanilla, Patchouli and iris which is a combination I love! I have fallen in love with it that much I am going to have to buy the perfume as well as the body lotion! As crushingly I only have about 20mls left! £11.99

Kind & Natured Coconut & Shea Shampoo & Conditioner

I am so impressed with this, this range is free from Sulphates which totally dry and irritate the skin and irritates Eczema sufferers, my mum suffers from Eczema in her ears, I do too but not as bad, so if we use a shampoo that has Sulfates in it the eczema kicks off alarmingly and the inside of ears are on fire and itch like crazy, its horrid! This shampoo is a godsend and it is also Paraben and Petrochemical free, and has been certified as 97% natural which is great. It smells deliciously of a lovely creamy coconut, and makes my hair lovely and soft. I have long fine coloured hair and it works great, I do not need to use much conditioner. I am certainly going to try out their body care range as really excited to try the Sea Salt & Bergamot, Amber & Pink Pepper & coconut & passion flower fragrances. It so reasonably priced as I find good quality paraben and sulphate free shampoo and conditioners cost the earth!   £4.99 each

MOA – The Green Balm

This is a miracle in a jar and I just love it! They do not use petrochemicals (mineral oil), parabens, SLS, phthalates, fillers or artificial fragrance and their newer products are all vegan. The Green Balm is an organic multi-purpose healing/beauty balm. This cult product is crammed with MOA’s hero herb yarrow & tea Tree oil, it is fantastic for Eczmea and psoriasis which weirdly I developed in between my fingers from cleaning without rubber gloves! I know naughty me!! Well this has been fantastic, I love also slathering it on in the morning if I am not going out and my skin feels a little dry, as all this cold, heating, wind and fires for the first time in years my skin has been drying out. Its great on burns as remember las week I burnt my foot on juices from my roast, well this stuff has been fantastic and really soothed my skin. I use this at night to clean off my make-up and its fantastic , my skin feel so clean and soft, it really glows and its tough competition for Liz Earle . I really can’t recommend this enough! Sadly I am now down to half a jar, though I will be purchasing this again as its brilliant!  50ml £15.00

The Ordinary – Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squaline

A high strength, zero-to-low irritation serum that’s been proven to soften fine lines, improve pigmentation problems and revitalise skin, causing it to look fresher and more youthful. ‘Granactive Retinoid’ is a next-generation retinoid active technology, which can not only achieve better anti-ageing results than traditional retinol but do so without the irritation commonly associated with it, including redness and flaking. It still makes the skin more sensitive to UV radiation, however, so thorough protection is recommended.I have noticed a change in my skin, it has helped any pigmentation, and I do feel my skin is plumper and smoother and finer lines are softer! It’s not a miracle worker maybe it would have been if I had of been using this from my 30s but I am impressed as for such a good price to get the results I have, I am very impressed!  30ml £7.80

Nuxe Body – Long Lasting Deodorant

For all skin types, including sensitive skin and just-shaved skin. it smells of coconut and almond blossom, Oh this is utterly heavenly, it moisturises but is  not sticky, it lasts all day and smells so pretty. I absolutely love his its £8.50 for one but they do have a deal on at the mo, two for £9.00 which is what I will be ordering, I normally always use Mitcham but I am completely converted and love how it uses natural powders of Alum and silver.

By Terry – Mini Baume de Rose

Lipo-regenerating complex of Rose essential wax with softening properties. Pastel Oil to stimulate the cellular renewal and Shea Butter to nourish and comfort lips. with Vitamin E and SPF15 ; I’ve started using this every day as this is the first year I have suffered from chapped lips, but not anymore, I have a three pronged process that tackled and stopped that, here is one of those steps. Every day I use this if on its own or before lipstick, it feel so soothing, with its lovely delicate rose fragrance. on its own it has a slightly pink tint and it makes the lips look plumped and hydrated, This is the first By Terry product I have used, and would certainly love to try more of this brand. It is pricey at £14 but I do really love it and like its consistency and how it looks.

Triffle Cosmetics – Lip Scrub

Crunchy sugar crumbs mixed with pampering Cacao Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Pecan Seed Oil, No Mineral Oil, No Parabens,No Phthalates,No Gluten,Hypoallergenic – I love this as it really did get rid of all the chapped skin of my lips, and it tastes delicious! I got this from the look Fantastic box, and items are coming soon to buy direct from the site.

Dr Paw Paw Original Balm

Paw Paw is rich in antioxidants and minerals and also contains vitamins C and B to aid skin repair, providing anti inflammatory properties and adding moisture. It Contains Olive Oil to assist absorption, restore moisture and promote youthful looking skin. It is Paraben Free. I use this every night and its worked wonders, my lips are soft and smooth and I know longer get that dry or sore or tingly feeling! it’s a multi purpose balm and is currently £5.55 on Feelunique

I hope you like my picks and see something here you want to try or have tried, do let me know?

Coconut and Shea Shampoo, sounds like something I’d love. Also I feel like I’m the only person who’s never purchased from The Ordinary brand. Am I missing out? Love this post xx

Such beautiful photos and nice picks. 🙂 I love The Ordinary products, they are so effective yet super affordable. I also have a retinoid but have not really used it enough to form an opinion of it yet but this post makes me feel like I definitely should start using it more frequently.
