Hi, Guys I wanted to share with you “Mad about the house” coffee table book review.
Mad about the house book is the second book from interiors journalist Kate Watson-Smyth, and the UK’s No.1 interiors blog, madaboutthehouse.com. Expanding on her award-winning blog, Kate Watson-Smyth shares a wealth of experience in home design to help you make the most of the space in your home.
If you use Pinterest but still struggle to action what you pin, still feel you haven’t found your voice or choice, this is the book for you! It can get you from thought to action in easy steps.
What I love about Watson-Smyth book is that one of the keys is to tap into fashion, and how you can do that is by looking into your wardrobes where you can get a feel about the colours that you like overall.
This book is not full of glossy styled photos but written and presented in the exact same way as the blog, with humour and beautiful illustrations. There is a lot of content and real practical advice. Kate’s writing style is engaging and entertaining.
I love how she explains some of the theory in a way that a complete amateur will understand. This is why it makes reading this book so easy and such a joy.
If you are just starting with interiors, renovating or need help with finishing touches this book is perfect. It’s a great read! Full of inspiration and practical advice for a busy, real and lived in home.
It’s a beautiful book with great content.
I highly recommend this book and It’s a great addition to your coffee table!
